Building a community of storytellers who want to create impact
Impact Society is a community that aims to build collective awareness and drive social change toward the dire issues of our times, by means of storytelling and leadership actions that range across the niches of exploration, travel, writing, climate research, nature studies, scientific expeditions, photography, filmmaking and more. For the rebrand, I collaborated with the founder Arnob Banerjee, to build a renewed identity for the brand that reflects it's true purpose. We arrived at a strong brand purpose which then culminated into a distinct brand identity and visual language.
Brand Mnemonic
The concept for the brand mnemonic represents the reverberation of impact as it starts from within and extends outwards. This thought manifested itself into a strong mnemonic that emphasises on the effective truth – Impact starts with you.
Notebook
The brand identity extends into a playful layer of design on the notebook cover. The mnemonic sits over a scaled, black and white version of itself, drawing in focus on the form of the lines within.
Brand Communication
To visualise the extension of the brand on social media, I designed a series of Instagram templates for the brand that covers all major communication that the brand would require to share on a regular basis.
Icon
Visual Language & Brand assets
Icon is a lifestyle brand that celebrates the journey and the moments behind the scenes that collectively form a real 'icon'. Starting with luggage and backpack products, they wanted an identity that can be extended into a larger business in the future. As a part of the design team at Thought Over Design, I worked on the brand assets and visual language for the brand.
